Personal Grooming Set – Sensory Support Kit for Hair Brushing, Tooth Brushing & Daily Care Routines
The Personal Grooming Set – Sensory Support Kit for Hair Brushing, Tooth Brushing & Daily Care Routines has been thoughtfully developed to support neurodivergent children and adults who may find personal care tasks challenging, uncomfortable or overwhelming. Bringing together practical sensory-friendly tools in one convenient kit, this set is designed to make everyday grooming routines more predictable, comfortable and manageable while supporting independence, confidence and participation in self-care.
At Disability Equip Online, we understand that routines such as brushing hair and brushing teeth can be difficult for individuals with sensory processing differences, heightened sensitivity, anxiety around grooming, or challenges with routine transitions. The Personal Grooming Set – Sensory Support Kit for Hair Brushing, Tooth Brushing & Daily Care Routines helps reduce some of those barriers by combining carefully selected products that support gentler grooming, visual structure and improved routine consistency.
This practical personal care kit includes one Surround Toothbrush, one Sensory Hairbrush and one Tooth Brushing Timer. Together, these tools support key areas of personal grooming by helping to reduce discomfort, manage time, provide predictable routine cues and encourage more positive engagement in daily care tasks. Whether used at home, in therapy, at school or as part of a supported independent living routine, the Personal Grooming Set – Sensory Support Kit for Hair Brushing, Tooth Brushing & Daily Care Routines offers a more supportive approach to everyday personal care.
The Surround Toothbrush is designed to provide gentle and effective brushing while reducing the discomfort that some individuals experience with traditional toothbrushes. The Sensory Hairbrush is selected to help minimise pulling and scalp sensitivity, making hair brushing less distressing and easier to tolerate. The Tooth Brushing Timer offers a visual and auditory cue to support routine building, time awareness and consistency during oral care tasks.
By combining these essential grooming supports into one set, the Personal Grooming Set – Sensory Support Kit for Hair Brushing, Tooth Brushing & Daily Care Routines can assist NDIS participants, families, therapists and carers in building self-care skills, reducing resistance to grooming tasks and creating more calm, predictable routines. It is an ideal option for supporting personal hygiene goals, daily living skills, emotional regulation and greater independence across home, therapy, school and community settings.
