Designed with a tall, narrow profile and a distinctive archway shape, the Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL is ideal for spaces where a traditional rectangular board may not fit. Its two-layer magnetic film is designed to provide enhanced magnetic grip compared with single-layer alternatives, allowing users to display compatible magnetic letters, numbers, shapes and educational resources.

Whether used in a classroom, early learning centre, allied health clinic or at home, the Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL creates a dedicated surface for drawing, practising skills, organising visual information and encouraging independent participation.

A Flexible Surface for Learning, Communication and Creativity

The combination of chalk and magnetic functionality makes this wall decal suitable for a variety of educational and therapeutic activities.

• Encourage creative expression: Provide a dedicated surface for drawing, mark-making, writing and visual exploration.

• Support literacy and numeracy: Use compatible magnetic letters, numbers and shapes to practise spelling, counting, sequencing and pattern recognition.

• Promote communication: Display suitable visual prompts, symbols and learning materials to support communication and participation.

• Encourage independence: Create an activity area where children and other users can select, arrange and interact with learning materials at their own pace.

• Support occupational therapy activities: Incorporate magnetic matching, sorting, visual-motor activities and structured learning tasks into appropriate therapy sessions.

• Make the most of available space: The archway design fits neatly into alcoves, beside doorways and within smaller learning or activity zones.

Two-Layer Magnetic Film for Improved Grip

The Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL features two-layer magnetic film designed to provide stronger magnetic holding performance than single-layer decals.

The magnetic surface can accommodate compatible magnetic educational resources and may support heavier magnetic accessories, such as a MagicPlate loaded with building bricks, when used with suitable magnets and within appropriate load limits.

Magnetic holding strength depends on the type and strength of the magnets, the decal material and the weight of the items being displayed. Always test compatibility before use, particularly when displaying heavier resources.

Chalk Drawing Without a Traditional Chalk Tray

The chalk-compatible surface provides a practical alternative to a conventional framed chalkboard. Draw, write and wipe the surface clean as needed without requiring a separate chalk tray.

This streamlined design makes it easier to incorporate drawing, writing and learning activities into classrooms, therapy rooms, early learning environments and home activity spaces.

Permanent Peel-and-Stick Installation

The Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL is designed for permanent installation rather than repeated repositioning. When correctly applied to a suitable, smooth wall surface, it creates a dedicated activity area without requiring a traditional framed board.

Important: Wall preparation and surface compatibility are essential for successful installation. This decal is not suitable for every wall type and cannot be repositioned after application without risking damage to the decal, adhesive or underlying paint.

Safety Information and Installation Requirements

Check Wall Suitability Before Ordering

For the adhesive to perform correctly, the wall must be smooth, flat, clean, dry and suitable for decal application.

The Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL is not recommended for the following surfaces:

• Newly painted or uncured walls: Avoid surfaces painted within the last 30–90 days, as advised by the supplier. Actual curing time depends on the paint, environmental conditions and manufacturer recommendations.

• Deteriorated or chalking walls: Surfaces that release a fine, powdery residue when touched may prevent the adhesive from bonding securely.

• Standard wallpaper and fabric-backed wall coverings: Seams, textures and fibrous materials can interfere with adhesion.

• Porous or rough surfaces: Including bare concrete, diatomaceous earth finishes and heavily textured plaster.

• Uneven surfaces: The decal requires a smooth, flat application area.

Always assess the wall before installation and follow the supplier's preparation instructions.

Permanent Installation – Not Repositionable

The Magnetic Chalk Wall Decal for Kids, Archway 118×60cm — JDECAL is designed to remain in place once installed.

Removing and repositioning the decal may stretch the material, compromise the adhesive and damage the underlying paint or wall surface.

Carefully confirm the placement, dimensions and wall suitability before application.

Magnetic Compatibility and Load Considerations

The decal is receptive to magnets, but holding strength depends on the magnets used and the weight and configuration of the items attached.

• Test magnets and accessories before placing heavier items on the surface.

• Do not assume that every magnetic accessory will hold securely.

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions for any accessories used.

• Avoid placing heavy items where they could fall onto a child or another user.

• Supervise activities where required by the user's age, abilities, support needs or the activity being undertaken.

Chalk and Activity Supervision

Use chalk appropriate for the intended surface and clean according to the supplier's care instructions. Keep small magnetic pieces and accessories away from individuals who may mouth or swallow them. Assess the suitability of all materials for the intended users.
