The Aalto Round Grass Ottoman combines practical seating with a distinctive tactile sensory experience, making it a versatile addition to sensory-friendly environments, learning spaces, libraries, allied health settings and community areas.

Featuring a realistic grass-textured upholstery, the Aalto Round Grass Ottoman provides an interesting tactile surface that can contribute to a varied sensory environment. Its soft padding offers comfortable seating for reading, quiet activities, group work, waiting areas or informal interaction.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the ottoman features lockable castors and plastic feet, allowing it to be adapted to different environments and seating requirements. The castors make repositioning easier when creating flexible learning, therapy or community spaces, while the locks help keep the ottoman securely in place when stationary.

The compact 45cm diameter x 43cm high design makes the Aalto Round Grass Ottoman suitable for a range of indoor environments without taking up excessive floor space. It can be incorporated into classrooms, libraries, sensory rooms, reception areas, breakout spaces and collaborative learning environments.

The tactile grass finish can be particularly useful when developing environments that offer different sensory experiences and choices. Rather than relying on a single type of seating, incorporating varied textures and flexible furniture can help create spaces where individuals can choose an environment that better suits their sensory preferences and activity.

For schools and education settings, the Aalto Round Grass Ottoman can support flexible seating arrangements and informal learning. In allied health and therapy environments, it can provide an alternative seating option within sensory or activity-based spaces. In aged care, community and home care environments, it can contribute to comfortable, adaptable shared areas.

The Aalto Round Grass Ottoman is designed for indoor use only and requires simple assembly, with the feet and castors requiring attachment.

Why Choose This Product

The Aalto Round Grass Ottoman is more than a conventional seat. It combines comfortable seating, tactile sensory design and flexible mobility in a compact format, making it particularly useful when creating inclusive environments.

For educators and schools, it provides another way to introduce flexible seating and sensory variety into learning spaces. For occupational therapists and allied health professionals, it can contribute to environments where individuals have access to different textures, seating options and activity positions.

For aged care, home care and community environments, its compact design and mobility make it practical for spaces that need to be regularly adapted.

The tactile grass upholstery also provides a distinctive sensory feature without requiring a dedicated sensory product or large sensory installation. This makes the Aalto Round Grass Ottoman a practical choice for inclusive classrooms, sensory spaces, libraries, therapy environments and community settings where functionality and sensory consideration need to work together.
