Build N' Balance Platform Kit
The Build n’ Balance Platform Kit is a versatile modular balance course designed to support gross motor development, coordination, balance and movement confidence through active, hands-on play. Ideal for schools, early learning settings, therapy environments and home use, the Build n’ Balance Platform Kit gives children the opportunity to build, explore and navigate their own movement pathways while developing essential physical and cognitive skills.
Designed as a complete starter set, the Build n’ Balance Platform Kit allows children to create a wide range of custom balance courses using raised balance tops, connecting planks and a dynamic rocking plank. With adjustable build heights from 10cm to 24cm, the set can be configured to suit different ages, skill levels and therapeutic goals, making it a valuable resource for educators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and support teams working on balance, coordination, motor planning and confidence in movement.
The open-ended design encourages children to problem-solve, make decisions and test different course layouts, supporting both physical development and creative thinking. Whether used in an early childhood setting, school movement program, therapy session or home environment, the Build n’ Balance Platform Kit promotes active participation, body awareness, core strength and postural control in a way that remains engaging and adaptable over time.
The inclusion of multiple tops, plank pathways and a rocking plank enables graded challenge and progression. Children can begin with lower, more stable arrangements and move toward more complex layouts as their confidence, strength and coordination improve. This makes the Build n’ Balance Platform Kit particularly useful for gross motor programs, sensory movement breaks, obstacle courses, indoor active play spaces and therapy activities focused on functional movement outcomes.
For NDIS participants, allied health professionals and support providers, the Build n’ Balance Platform Kit can be incorporated into movement-based activities that build physical confidence, support participation in play and group activities, and encourage greater independence in navigating movement challenges. In education and community settings, it provides a flexible movement resource that supports cooperative play, turn-taking, spatial awareness and physical engagement.
Please note: yellow platform not included.
